Day Of Walking To The Tourist Sites Singapore

WALKING OFF THE CALORIES...

After our lunch, we took MRT to Bugis for some desserts.  From Bugis we set off  to Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay and lastly Clark Quay.  Total steps taken for that day was more than 16000 steps!!  Wow... that was a great achievement for me... LOL... I never walked so much since my London trip.  But strangely this time, I did not feel as tired mainly because we made several stops to rest our weary legs... walk, eat and rest.... walk, eat and rest... and repeat... and total : 5 rounds of food!  LOL....

Taken in the morning as we set out from the hotel....
The hotel is along Penang Road....
Bugis Mall....
Collection of BearBrick....
Not cheap, I was told....
The big ones can cost up to few thousand SG...
Walking to dessert shop....
The shop signature dessert...
Pomelo Mango....
Not sure why I ended up ordering Herbal Black Pudding for myself...
Maybe I want to cool down my body....
Marina Bay Sands, the next destination....
Walked around quite a bit...
and soon it is time to have another round....
From the mall we walked to another local cafe....
Mylos Cafe... hidden gem...
Mylos's ice cream!
Expresso and Latte... for the coffee lovers...
Quiche... for myself!
After these, we adjourned to Gardens By The Bay...
More walking exercise!

  1. The previous times I went to sg I walked a lot too. I think sg is very suitable for walking due to the good public transport and nice walking pavements. Good to see you enjoying yourself there.

  2. I would love to try the pomelo mango dessert. Ice cream to replenish your energy for more walking.

  4. Gosh!!! I wouldn't want to walk so far in Singapore! It's not the same in London - the weather is so nice there and you do not feel it at all when you walk...and walk...and walk...all around the city! Who are all those people with you? Your son-in-law?

  5. I will be visiting Singapore often since my last trip 3 weeks ago. I still have not visited Marina Bay Sands and their Gardens. My trips were all too busy and packed with appointments without walking much. I prefer your healthy holidays!

You looked so young like a teenager in the photos. Sui la!!
