Oceanside Pier And In N Out

LAST DAY ON OUR CITY TOUR...

In the evening we walked around the Oceanside town.  It was quite quiet on a weekday, not the most happening place in this area near the beach.  We walked along the Oceanside's pier which is one of the longest over water-pier on the west coast of United States.  I googled, it was about 1954 feet long, stretching it out to the sea.  I think daytime would be a better view of the sea, for me, at least.... I stared out to the sea during the dark and it was kind of frightening, with nothing at both sides.

My brother-in-law did not walk along the whole pier, three of us ladies did... and we stumbled along a drunkard lady who was kind of "harassing" us with questions.  We just walked on and she followed suit... we just ignored her and carried on taking pictures and she stood waiting for us.

Quickly we walked back to where my brother-in-law was waiting for us and we told him.  Soon the lady came back and as soon as she saw us with him, she came over and talked to him, crackling all the way.  I think she must be "high" cos no one understood what she was talking about... Anyway, we just let her be and after awhile, we made our move back to our car.  This time she didn't follow us... Well, nothing happened, just a kind of experience, never walk alone at night, just like in the movies.... LOL...

In the night... going to the pier....
At the entrance....
Still at the beginning....
Looking down from the pier....
From the sea angle....
We walked until the blue building which hosts a restaurant....
On both sides are sea water....
I am standing in the middle of the sea.....

The next morning we checked out and had our meal at IN n OUT....
This is the only place where I could finish one whole burger by myself!
It says..."Come on, eat me... eat me"
Thumbs up for In N Out....

  1. The pier looks fine, much nicer than the Lovers' Bridge at Tanjung Sepat!

  2. OH, In N Out is supposed to be the BEST place for burgers! I wish we had one here. Og my, I am glad that crazy lady did not have some kind of weapon. Probably she was high on drugs.

  5. Hope the lady was alright, sure not safe for her to be by herself.

Lovely shot of the pier. Must be beautiful and serene at night.

  7. I wonder did my previous comment posted or not. Anyway, just want to comment that it is a beautiful shot. The pier must be lovely, quiet and serene at night. And geez, why that drunk lady had no one with her. Pretty dangerous for her to be alone.

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

The Good, The Bad But Not Ugly

MISSING AND NOW BACK IN ACTION...  I checked back my last post and it was 8 March last month and today is 19 April, less than two months only.  So what has been happening in my life?  Lots and lots... good news, bad news, sad news... all concerning health and I guess this is our life cycle as we live day by day.   My health is also not that "fantastic" during the past few months, but mine is a small rock compared to giant boulder which my best buddy is undergoing... I guess some of you know what is happening to her from her blog posts.  I was totally devastated when this happened to her, my tears couldn't help falling and my heart goes out to her.  I am ashamed to say that instead of me giving the comfort that she needs, I am the one that have been receiving her strength in times like this.  She might be crushed physically but she is not broken in her spiritual mind and soul.  One word... "Unbreakable!"  She is a shining example..... "What can death do to m
