Birthday Celebration At Loon Sing Restaurant, Johor

WE CELEBRATED A FEW DAYS EARLY for Andy's birthday, the actual day is a weekday so it was not so convenient for those who are still under employment.... LOL...

I asked the birthday boy where he wanted to go and have his big feast and he suggested Loon Sing Restaurant.  Well, seems that his choice suited his sister real fine too, both of them and their spouses love the food there.

As far as I can remember, this restaurant served Hockchew food, a few years ago they had red wine chicken and the noodles were fried differently, with peanuts as toppings.  Anyway, according to the staff, they do not have these in the menu already, maybe different owner/chef now.

I let my son did the ordering, since it was his big day, let him enjoy eating his favorite dishes.  We also invited his in-laws to the dinner, they are very friendly people and I always get to eat their homecooked dinner every time I am in Johor.

Dishes we enjoyed on that evening....
The main attraction is the one facing the camera...
BBQ pork ribs...
Tung Po Yuk eaten with Mantau dumplings...
Lots of collogen...
Claypot sea delicacies...
Two types of prawns...
Cereal and buttered on each side...
Mixed vegetables...
Total cost RM500 plus...
And one to remember us on this day.....
LOL...
