Dedicated To Lynn (29.2.2008)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LYNN LYNN

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU..............

Today you told me that that you are only 7 years old but in actual fact, you are 7 x 4 years of age..I wondered how come...then you explained to me....you can only celebrate your birthday once in every four years and so today is only the 7th time you can actually have your birthday on the exact date....wah..sounds confusing... but nevertheless, you are correct.... sounds pitiful too, Mui Mui... haha... but on the other hand, you are so special, so special from the rest of us...

Another fascinating fact and amazing thing that you told me is... your eldest sister is also born on the 29th February.....wow....when I really think of it, it is indeed a special gift from God.... and He has given your Mum the honour of giving birth to 2 BABIES on the 29th February..... no joke.. this is really amazing..amazing...what more can I say....To give birth naturally too, no pre-plan dates, no arrangment with doctors to be operated on....Great...

Hope you enjoyed the lunch that we gave you this pm....simple meal but with sincerity and warming thought...ahem.. On behalf of GG, MM and yours truly here, we would like you to know that it is indeed a great pleasure and bonus to have you in our department....Frankly, we enjoy your presence with us very much, your bubbly, lively plus the "FDL" character really boost up and enhance our working lives daily.

Ever since you came, life in the office is not as monotonous as before, despite our tedious workload, with you around, it overcomes the stress, with our many phone calls to each other, our chatting online, our makan breaks, not forgetting our "sok yau" time with fei lo in canteen, it is really fun cos you bring laughter and joy to our daily working life..... Really, it does.....(not exaggerating one)

Last and not least, once again, we wish you good health and happiness throughout your life... do continue to be yourself and may what you dream for comes true...GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!

Your see-lai frens,

(H

  9. lynn darling is someone near and dear to us eventho' she just 'slide'into us.She has brought many positive changes to us.Look at MM New ,In, hairdo...the many attentions we managed to draw when we decided to show off our 'laughters'wherever we go..how our claire 'sparkles' whenever the word "chiat" is mentioned.. and how she risks her life to sneak out from her "forbidden city" to get a piece of roasted pork and a spoonful of tung shui... yes, we the 4 golden flowers enjoy a life of our own and nobody can deny us...

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t

Home Cooked Dishes

NOT MUCH HAPPENING... and lazy too.... My neighbour gave me half pumpkin and I have been keeping it for a couple of days before I finally decide what to do with it.  I cook it into small chunks and sauteed it with minced meat, okra and basil leaves.  Yes, it would be great to put in some small cilipadi but unfortunately, I did not find any in my fridge.  Steamed a bowl of rice and that was meal for dinner.... One dish meal....  Pumpkin reminds me of sweet potatoes...sweet after cooking... Another dinner meal consist of Sambal Fish, black pepper met and a hard boiled egg  I only boiled the egg, the other two dishes were "sponsored" by my neighbour... LOL...
