Authentic Houses and Heritage Food..

WEEKEND Sunday was spent in Penang...all of us wanna eat and eat till "lausai" muak... in other words, eat from morning till night... I didnt manage to capture all the food that we took, too busy eating ma..... but then other than food, Penang is famous for its authentic houses and might remain as a heritage in this Pearl Of The Orient...

We have to park our car in this narrow lane here, off Penang Road, in order to take the famous Chendol dessert and of course, THE LAKSA....

see how narrow this road is... the chendol stall is right at the end there...

maybe this picture manage to emphasize on the road's narrowness...

if u want to drink this in the coffeeshop, u have to pay 40cents more, otherwise, stand outside under the hot sun leh...
purposely came here to savour this laksa....hhmmm....'someone' by the name of AA walloped 2 bowls simultaneously...

  13. Hi Claire! Hubby and I have stayed in KL for 2 1/2 years, only left last year for Dubai. Looking at your photos made me miss the place, food and our friends there even more. Really want to go back soon when we get the chance. Until then, I'll have to settle with just reminiscing the good life we had there. Miss the chendol, char kway teow and hokkien mee...these are my faves...yum...yum. Care to x-links?
