For the whole afternoon I have been thinking of how to start tonight's post .. finally I gave up, I will just let the words flow...
Being a blogger like you and me, I am sure many of us love to make friends with either local or foreigners online. Frankly speaking, in these two years, I have made a quite a number... some whom I met and had meals together and there are some whom I know through commenting in their blogs and emails.
Being a blogger like you and me, I am sure many of us know this A Mother's Monologue.... if that doesn't sound familiar, does mamapumpkin ring a bell then? Frankly speaking, I do not know her pretty well and I just came across her blog recently. But I have heard of her a few months ago in another pretty mum's blog... remember vaguely that a few mommies gathered together to have an outing with their kids...
Ok, why am I mentioning her tonight since I do not know her well enough to talk about her? Well, just one reason... she intrigues me.... We know each other better through a few emails and I found out that she is very thoughtful, kind and yet "no hanky panky" lady... meaning one means one, two means two, no messing around, please. Just from a few emails, I can deduce that she is a "down to earth" lady who looks hard outside but with a super soft heart inside. She will not bow to pressure nor she will look up for favors. She is one lady whom you love making friends with if you are truly sincere in your friendship.
Well, that is all I know about her for now and I hope I get to know her better in the coming days. Blogging is like a big circle of writers linking to one another..... so lets treat each other with a sincere heart, without fear or favour....

Good for that. Am also tired of those "strained bloggership" .ReplyDelete
Like this post...ReplyDelete
good post... totally agreeReplyDelete
Gosh! Thank you, Claire!!! At 1am, I was feeling upset because I had a misunderstanding with my husband and now, I'm reading this and it has totally lifted my mood. I am very touched. Thank you. I can sleep in peace tonight with happy sweet dreams......ReplyDelete
strained bloggership happens even when you least expect it. maybe it just boils down to respect. we must respect each other's space. blogging also tells much about a person's character. and for that matter, commenters too!ReplyDelete
yes agree with you. no hanky panky style hahaha.ReplyDelete
I did check out this lady's blog. she seems like a nice and sincers person. So did you have a little misunderstanding with her? Is that who she is referring to? Oh, my, maybe you can clear it up be e-mail? These kinds of things must happen to all bloggers, but are so upsetting! But now I see a very good comment from her above me! So this is good.ReplyDelete
Hahaha!!! Just for the record, Claire has not pissed me off in the least!!! My post has nothing to do with Claire at all :-)ReplyDelete
"Blogging is like a big circle of writers linking to one another..... so lets treat each other with a sincere heart, without fear or favour...." kathy: yes, wonder what actually triggered them in the first place..ReplyDelete
mamapumpkin: as the Bible says, "settle all grouses before the sun sets" so hope u settle the misunderstanding in bed.. :p
tuti: agreed.. sometimes i refrained from telling out loud.. too personal might trigger off something else instead and might backfired on us later on...
voon: no hanky panky among bloggers, right? :)ReplyDelete
ginny: no, no.. i dint have any misunderstanding with this nice lady here...I am talking generally on the whole.. blogging world among all bloggers.. came across some who have strained relationship and also some who have cultivated into a good friendship..

afriqiyah, yes i agree with you... blogging is indeed become a passion for me.. hope it does to you too..ReplyDelete
my friend, with facebook, it’s becoming more difficult to maintain the blog ha ha ha. but i made a promise to myself that i will visit my linked sites and leave comments every single day (if they have a new post of course). maybe we should start that movement?!? - and yes, there are days that i just let my fingers do the talking. :) keep on blogging!ReplyDelete
Like many other relationships, getting to know friends via blogging activities takes lots of time and persistence. Just hope that blogger friends are not just hi-bye ones. Some of them are worth keeping a lifetime.ReplyDelete
Met mamapumpkin twice, she is indeed a fun and nice lady, straight forward, nothing hidding.ReplyDelete
I couldn't agree with you more! Life is short - why NOT be sincere? Costs us nothing!ReplyDelete
