I DID IT AGAIN!

I thought I would be looking forward to a relaxing weekend.... too bad it was spoilt by a last minute phone call from a colleague in another department. I DID IT AGAIN!! Mistake, mistake!! I did a mistake....

Gosh, I should not be commenting about work here...but then... this kept haunting me from 4pm till now...

My only solution is... when Monday comes, I will have to give a good treat to that person, hoping that she will withdraw the money which has wrongfully been keyed in to her account and return to the proper owner. And for me to bear in mind that .... I got to be very careful next time!! Please, no more wrong payment to wrong person .......sigh....

Concentrate, lady... have to concentrate! My weekend seems to be "stained." Why am I so bothered by this... ok ok.. maybe time for retirement...

  13. Focus. Too many things on your mind, too many responsibilities. Are you on the pension scheme? If not, you can just retire prematurely - obviously you're not old enough for full retirement.

Looks like you deal with money. Perhaps you can devise a check system. Before approving payment, have another person to check first - maybe work with a colleague - I check yours, you check mine...so such things may not happen.

That's why when I make payments on machines or online, I get so worried. Still prefer the old over-the-counter system.

  14. It is because we are responsible ppl and we are concerned with the quality of our work. I am also like u. Always expect perfection in my work but we're only humans, sometimes we make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. So have to learn to relax a bit lor... I also did something wrong on Friday and I am not having a good weekend because I also kept thinking about it.. SIGH

  15. stp: yes, i need to focus.. but do u know, i have a bad habit.. i multi tasked when i do my work.. while waiting for the system to work, i do something else.. like i want to finish the work quick and thus mistakes on and off.. guess i cannot multi task as efficient as i can like those days.. younger brains work faster, i got to agree.. now grey cells more.. so i guess.. er.... u know..

kiasu: yes, when i make mistake it haunts me.. i mean serious ones la.. not so serious, i lantak only... guess Monday comes, i got to do something fast!

  19. Mistake is spotted and can only be resolved by Monday nothing much you can do about right now. As long as its internal and you know where the mistake really is things will be OK. Trust me!. Unless its gone and the public has taken it and you wouldnt know who took it then its a different issue. Fong soong chi kei...relax...

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

MISSING IN BLOGGING AGAIN.... this has become a norm now ever since I arrived to this continental... LOL... Now I understand the word of Full Commitment when it comes to taking care of baby... seriously, I have to be fully commited and occupied by this little cheeky fella who is now going to be his 10th month soon.  Wow... time flies, when I first came, he was just slightly over four months... that being said, it is soon time fo rme to pack my bags and leave.  LOL... My 6 months being a babysitter is soon over... and did I say I can hardly wait?  NO, NO... I love my job here and I am going to miss my baby tremendously!  I only don't miss his cries!  LOL...  OK, by the time I write this post, Chinese New Year is over, it is now the 4th day of CNY.  Two days before the Lunar New Year, my daughter-in-law and I cooperated fully and baked a few types of cookies.  Looking back at these pictures, I dare say that we did a good job... not on the cookies but at least we had a great time bond
