High Chaparral

I remember when I was young, there were a lot of television movies on guns shooting between the cowboys and the red indians.  Those days, there were quite a lot of series on horse riding and carriages, unlike these days, we are getting more and more scientific movies.  Back to the cowboys movies, whenever there was a threat by the red indians, the first thing the sheriffs would do was to take their long rifles from the gun cabinet and the next thing, they would be up on their horses and galloping away. I could remember "High Chaparral"... do you remember any?
