Hooray, Hooray, Its Four Days Holiday!!

I slept around 12.45am this morning and when my alarm rang, I just couldn't get up to go to work.  My head started spinning and all at once, I felt like vomiting, reminding me of my nausea days few decades ago.

Went to the nearest hospital outpatient clinic and the doctor told me that my blood pressure was 150/80.  He told me to monitor again on some specific dates (4 days) and if my reading is still on the "high side"... I will have to go on medication.
I hope not...

It could be due to stress... but I am wondering what cause me stress... as far as I am concerned, I love to keep myself busy and occupied... relaxing in front of the computer and watching television... the only thing that seems to stress me up is the Housework!

Anyway, I am glad I was given a day off by the hospital doctor... he said I needed to rest... but too bad he gave me only one day... well, better than "no day"... But mind not, after tomorrow, there will be FOUR DAYS OFF!!   Selamat Hari Raya holidays!

  5. Oh dear, you are not feeling well again? Good that you have a few days rest. But are you going to sneak out and enjoy all the Raya goodies? I just guess you probably would :P I need to send some spies....haha. I do hope you recover very quickly.

  6. Sorry to hear that you were unwell. Some brisk walking or light gardening would do you a lot of good in reducing your blood pressure. Also your diet but sometimes it is due to hereditary issues. Medication is not the answer, the answer is withing yourself.

    How lucky you all are to have 4 days public holiday!!

  13. Hahahaha....suituapui is absolutely right. You really needed a good rest...Too much running around hunting for good food already. Stayed at home and be a good girl for a few days....and blog blog blog...that will take your stress away....take care and have a good holiday...

  20. you really need to be caution..high blood is no play, get a monitor to chk your blood pressure daily. Sometimes lack of sleep will also cause blood pressure

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL... 
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.  
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!  
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
