Great Sights At Hoover Dam Between Nevada And Arizona

After our breakfast, we set out again on the road to Hoover Dam or once known as Boulder Dam which is situated on the border between the US states of Arizona and Nevada. Considered to be the world's largest dam and an engineering marvel, Hoover Dam is really a sight not to be missed!

I am really "hopeless" in Geography, I have never heard of it before, it raised many eyebrows when I mentioned this.. LOL... even my son said he has "came across" this fact during his schooling days... I guess this mama here is really not into studying then but it is indeed educational, to see it with my own eyes is something else...
we parked our car here and we walked down a bit to admire the awesome sight...
so this is the Hoover Dam/Boulder Dam
along the Colorado River...
the engineering marvel is this bridge....
Hoover Dam Bypss
just opened in 2010
something interesting for my son...
I dare not look down.. this tower is slanting...
zoomed in to take a picture...
when we left the dam, we drove through this bridge...
it was covered on both sides...
Good too..so that I couldn't see the height!
and now... some images to preserve....
the sight is really awesome...
I dare not sit too "in"... LOL..
I rather stand with these folks of mine..
Charlie's Angels... hahhahaa...
Many countless thanks to my BIL...
He is really a Great Tour Guide...

Next... is Lake Havasu...
