It Sure Rains In Las Vegas...

Soon it was dark when we reached the outskirts of Las Vegas... in fact, it was going to pour and it did!! With the lightning and all, I was quite nervous about the heavy rain and wind... furthermore, the radio kept announcing that those driving to Las Vegas got to look out for flash floods and take a U-turn out from the town....
I think "we" brought the rain to Las Vegas...
according to my BIL, it seldom rains in Las Vegas..
as in the song "It never rains in California"
dark clouds looming above us....
on the opposite side, the sun was setting...
but on our side where we were heading, heavy rain was going to pour on us...
after an hour of anxiety through the heavy downpour and silent prayers,
the rain was lighter when we were few kilometers from LV...
we stopped over at Railroad Hotel for our dinner...
we had salad...
followed by chicken soup....
we ordered a beef steak...medium done...
grilled salmon....
and I ordered a plate of meatballs with spaghetti with shredded cheese...
My girl sure will "envy" me when she sees this... lol...
by the time we reached Vegas, the rain had stopped....
and I was told that I must take this "Landmark" ....
Never leave Vegas without this image...
LOL...
Next Post...
A Rendezvous with Michael...
before we say goodbye to Las Vegas..
