My New Baby In The Kitchen

Yesterday I went to an electrical shop to get a table fan but ended up spending more than I ever expected to....  Alright... not that it is unexpected.... actually all these while, I wanted to get a good  water filter, something like Coway, Cosway, Amway, Elken, Diamond, Kangen....etc etc....

Eventually, I ended up buying this brand....
Not so sure effective or not...
While the others cost few thousands of ringgit,
this one only cost RM138 monthly x 12 .... LOL...
The men in action....
Supposed to DIY, but knowing myself, I sure cannot get that done...
Within five to ten minutes, they were done...
Testing, testing....
Make sure it is working properly before leaving...
And also giving me proper instructions on how to use...
My New Baby in the Kitchen...
I can keep my electrical kettle now...
Just press whatever water I need... purified, acidic and alkali....
How effective it is, yet to be seen....
hmmmm....

  1. Good I think, the trusted brand. I, for one is a great fan of Panasonic poducts. Hope your new baby is doing its work well.

  2. I can't help but notice that your kitchen is so clean. The counter top is not cluttered at all.

I do not own this type of "canggih" water filter that requires electricity. I just own the basic Panasonic type of filter that does not require electricity. What make you decide on using this type?

  3. Nice. Good to have something like that. Removes the harmful chlorine - but don't fill bottles and keep for a long time - no chlorine anymore to keep the water free from germs...

  4. Kathy: too many aso pening but this one is very simple...

Irene: i hope so too :)

  5. Mun: i heard of many direct sales water filter but they are expensive... So i thought this one is affordable... And same time alkali water, so i buy lo...

Stp: oh..that means must drink up daily? I thought of filling up for my girl to take back to college..

  6. Sounds good, quite cheap too but what about maintenance? expensive?

    ReplyDelete
  7. oh, good and convenient!! just fill in water from the filter directly into your glass.. ah, alkaline water, heard it's good!! but don't go for acidic lah, you have had enough food that makes your body acidic, more alkaline to neutralize please~~ :p

  8. So ... how do I get one of these!

  9. I just got a water purifier, but it is the kind that hooks onto your faucet, for clan drinking water. I think I may study about yours, I have never seen any around here so it may be hard to get. But you have to pay each month?

  10. We do that too for my girl but we do not have much choice - there's no clean water there. The rain water's yellow in colour like tea. She has a boiler though - just pour in, switch on and the water will boil...and it will keep the water warm at all times.

  11. elin: hope so!

ken: one filter cost around RM200 plus..

    ReplyDelete
  12. sk: yes, with all the outside food, i hope this one can help to neutralize..

    lexie: Panasonic!

  13. ginny: Panasonic is a japanese brand.. yes, you can pay in one lump sum.

stp: I also thought of that.. put in 5 litres of water and it can last her few days... but as you said, they might not be too good to keep them longer, right? I will read the manual book later.. :)

  20. It can boil water? Now it is easier around the kitchen.

I used Amway filter before. Very good but costly. Now I am using Cosway. No electricity needed.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Rose: No boiling water.. just filtered water.... alkali...acidic and purified... yes, I heard cosway is also not bad.. but need to boil..

    ReplyDelete

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Cookies For Chinese New Year 2022 In San Jose

MISSING IN BLOGGING AGAIN.... this has become a norm now ever since I arrived to this continental... LOL... Now I understand the word of Full Commitment when it comes to taking care of baby... seriously, I have to be fully commited and occupied by this little cheeky fella who is now going to be his 10th month soon.  Wow... time flies, when I first came, he was just slightly over four months... that being said, it is soon time fo rme to pack my bags and leave.  LOL... My 6 months being a babysitter is soon over... and did I say I can hardly wait?  NO, NO... I love my job here and I am going to miss my baby tremendously!  I only don't miss his cries!  LOL...  OK, by the time I write this post, Chinese New Year is over, it is now the 4th day of CNY.  Two days before the Lunar New Year, my daughter-in-law and I cooperated fully and baked a few types of cookies.  Looking back at these pictures, I dare say that we did a good job... not on the cookies but at least we had a great time bond

Buffet Lunch At Baccanal Caesar Palace Hotel, Las Vegas

BUFFET LUNCH... We made reservation for a nice buffet a week before we came to Las Vegas, the buffet is one of its kind in Caesar Palace, Baccanal is the name of the restaurant.  My kids were saying that we must have at least one good and memorable meal while here in Las Vegas and they chose the seafood buffet.  It cost around $90 per pax and being Asians, sure we would be attracted to just seafood!  Alaska Crabs... hairy crabs....lobster claws..  clams etc etc...  Oh, I did not take much photos on what we ate, just too busy stuffing in and to take out the camera with dirty hands and all.  LOL.... Just the initial stage and after that, it was all about eating and eating... oh, by the way, they only allowed 90 minutes in the restaurant, but I don't think they timed anyone... LOL.. Anyway, we took that amount of time to finish our food, sipping free champayne and mocktail too.  What a scrumptious meal... from mains to desserts, I think we only had one meal done for that day itself...
