Happy Steamboat On A Public Holiday!

A public holiday today...We woke up very early this morning because the painter promised to come before 8am... true enough, Labbie started barking around that time... And since we were already up so early, my girl and I went to the morning market. Very rare occasion to see both of us in the market so early in the morning... I should have taken a picture to remember this by!

Today's menu is homecooked food... yes, finally I did some cooking in the house today.  We have planned for a steamboat many days before and it did not materialize till today... Being me, I do not know how to estimate well and I ended up buying lots of greens, just for eight of us only.  Yes, I bought a lot of greens and I think I alone had taken more than half a kati... it is not much when we soaked them into the steamboat...
Ended up buying half kati of this and that... thus amounting to this whole lot!
Laying all of them down on the table...
Everything is ready except for the soup!  It is still in the Pot... hahahaa...
This one is more complete...
I did two types of soup.... one plain and one tomyam...
Half way through.... still have lots to finish....
Happy Steamboat Day!!
After tonight, No more steamboat until next year...
LOL...
