Orchid Club Room In Parkroyal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Our room was situated at Level 3 and we were led to our room by the hotel stall.  As we were walking to our room, he told us that this part of the hotel has just been renovated...
Due to the yellow lighting, the pictures turn out this way...
Not sure what these are for... the landscaping took up a lot of space here...

Not sure when I will come again...
Better take a picture for remembrance....
The photographer at work here.....
Even managed to "selfie" myself using a big mirror...
heheheee...
The spacious toilet that holds a long bath, shower room and toilet room...
.....overlooking the bed...
If one needs privacy, the blinds are there...
The Giant Bed... can accommodate three adults ....
But if short like me, it can fit in four easily...
heheheee...
Very comfortable room....
Who wants to go out to the hot weather when one can relax in here....?
Since I have the whole afternoon to relax, I have something in mind to do...
With an iPad in my hand, I can still watch TV at the same time!
This is total bliss!
Complimentary fruits and drinks....
How often can I relax like this...
Since I took two precious annual leave,
I might as well rest my weary bones and brain....
hahahaa....

  9. Should be very pricey...but of course, if convert to SIN$, can't even stay at a small simple hotel there. That is why I feel it is better to spend our holidays locally, stay in 4-5 star hotels and enjoy it to the max, basking in luxury. So relaxing, so very nice... Must pamper ourselves sometimes.

    1. Yeah, very pricey... Free food, laundry and ironing too! So staying inside the hotel is a better idea... Too hot outside...

  10. Room looks good here.. Very comfy.. Yeah, sometimes when I'm in the hotel also I feel very lazy to go out.. People say no need to stay in a very expensive hotel, you just need it to shower & sleep.. You'll be going out mostly the whole day.. But I can see in your case, you wana "heong sau" more, so yes, I agree in staying in the room and relax until you are ready to go out under the burning sun :)

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch

Night Market Along Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, Hatyai

BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE HOTEL, it was almost dark. This time round, we took a longer rest in the hotel... my girl might not need it but I certainly did!  After recharging around 80% of my body strength, we were ready to explore the streets again. Our hotel is really a strategic spot for us tourists.  The street vendors were all ready to boost their sales in front, at the side and along the whole stretch of street where we stayed.  Left, right, front... the place was filled with people and tourists like us... I could hear some of them speaking my dialect, we felt kind of at home instead of being tourists.... Besides the street vendors in front of the hotel, there was a night market just five minutes walking distance away from our hotel, Lee Garden Plaza.... Maybe they only opened during the weekends?  I am not sure about that.. .anyway, we were kind of excited to see all the bright lights along the street.... Come... Let's Go! We started from the beginning of the str
