Simple Lunch At Kampong Koh, Sitiawan

The next morning we set out from Ipoh around 11am for a day trip to Sitiawan. It has been more than a year or two since we last ventured out to this coastal town in Perak. It took me more than one hour drive to reach Kampong Koh and we chose Ah Pek Yeh Loi Heong restaurant for our lunch.
Angry Bird goes well with fresh coconut while waiting for the food to arrive...
While waiting for our food, we shared a Kompiang.. famous biscuit in Sitiawan...
And some sweet potatoes dumplings as appetizers...
We ordered Lala with soup and it came out like this.....
Cucumber boil with Lala... good combination...
The cucumber is soft and the clams are fresh....
Gonna try this one day at home!
Ordered only Flower Crabs cos only two of us can eat these....
Crispy fried fish...
Cannot go without the mee sua with chicken in red wine...

Four dishes for the four of us....
Bill came to RM75...

  2. HHhmmmm, now I want to eat the mee suah. Did you two finish eating the flower crab? Looks quite difficult to eat with all the shells. Not too expensive. Don't think a lunch with crab can be termed as simple, hehehe.

    8. Well, as I said, it depends on individual buds and also how fresh it is... or where the place that sells.. not all are the same so cannot finalize how tasty it is... some may like it and some may not... so we must try them before we come to any conclusion...

    9. Hmm...I've been trotting and traveling around Malaysia these days. If there is one thing that I learned about travel is that one should never judge food by pictures. Should try yourself den u will know it is nice or not. Must keep an open mind...else...well...like they say...the world is like a book. Those who doesn't travel...read just one page. The same applies to food.

    10. Good to hear that you have been traveling lately, Cleffairy... Talking about food, I really have to say this again and again.. it depends on individual taste buds...
