Lan Jie At Rawang

COME FRIDAY EVENING, WE TOOK THE CHOO-CHOO TRAIN DOWN SOUTH TO RAWANG... Nowadays with the ETS, traveling to Kuala Lumpur is so convenient... I don't have to drive anymore especially when it is raining season these days... furthermore, with my retiree card, I can get a discount of 30% on train fares!  :)
Comfortable and clean...
The journey took only 1 hour 45 minutes..
and we reached the Rawang railway station just in time to take our dinner!
We were taken to Lan Jie ... my all time favourite....
Alongside with their famous steamed talapia, we ordered beancurd cooked this way....
Oh, I forgot what this is called...
In cantonese, it is called "Sei Nim Tau?"
And we just wanted it sauteed with garlic....
Lan Jie is famous for their steamed Talapia with lots of garnishing....
Just the garnishing alone is so tasty....
I can even finish one fish by myself...!
We ordered two of the same kind so that we could eat with satisfaction....
The bill came to RM72 for the four of us....
After our dinner, it was time to call it a night...
No more young birds anymore...
We just want a relaxing kind of foodie weekend....
And that was what we had for the next two days....

  5. Famous tilapia here, the salt-baked one but the restaurant is so far away, the other side of town. You come, I take you there - sure you would love it, everyone says it's the best, none anywhere can compare.
