Two Meals At Tea Garden, Johor

MY GIRL HAD NOT BEEN TO JOHOR FOR MORE THAN A YEAR..... During that one year, I have been posting up what I have eaten in JB and those food made her "salivate" and now she has her "food vengence!"  LOL... Though she has only two weeks break, she managed to persuade me to drive all the way to JB, she told me that she missed the little nest and also her brother whom she has not seen ever since CNY last year.  These two reasons managed to touch my heart.... LOL...

And so one fine morning last week, these two ladies braved through the 5-6 hours drive, all the way from Ipoh to Johor... for the very first time!  Drizzling all the way nevertheless, we arrived safely and the food adventure began the very next day... Yes, I have been posting up the foodventures in my previous posts and in this post, there are two meals accumulated at the same place but on different days.  Tea Garden is one of her choices in this trip itinerary....
The place was very crowded on a Sunday... tables were all occupied
and we had to wait for a short while for one...
Andy's choice for curry noodles...
And my choice of Nasi Lemak with fried chicken this time instead of Rendang...
Shared with my girl...
She preferred Toasted Bread with a half-boiled egg and another piece with Kaya and Butter...
Our favourite sponge cake...
And Portugese Egg Tart...

Then on another day which was a weekday, we came here again... just the of us....
She had bread again!  Yes, she is a bread lover...
Whereas I ordered something spicy....
Two pieces of Prata which is shared... of course...
Came with a bowl of chicken curry....
And some steamed tapioca as desserts....
Somehow.. both of us managed to finish them all...
A very "Flour-ful" meal indeed...
Twice within a week...
Ok, no more Tea Garden for this trip... till the next!

Freshly Baked With Love From Breadlady

BUNS AND PIES... freshly baked with Love.... printed on a brown paper bag, delivered by her handsome son right to my doorstep!  LOL.... Saw it on Facebook, one of my friends put up the fresh curry buns she ordered.  Yours truly saw and salivated and the next thing, I have the details I needed.  During the weekdays, the Breadlady has different kinds of buns and on Saturdays, she makes shepherd pies.  Since I got the details on Friday, I quickly messaged her and ordered 5 packets!  No, I did not eat them all, I ordered for my friends too, they have the same common interest as I do.  LOL...  ' Each set of shepherd pie comes with 2 fresh buns costing RM15.   I like her packing.... Brown paper bag with this slogan... Freshly baked with love...  The pies were still warm when they were delivered to right to  my doorstep with no extra charge... So nice! Dim Sum For Six In First Garden, Ipoh

BREAKFAST PLANS.... and we had Dim Sum this morning in First Garden.  We made the plans the night before to meet at the shop at 9am...  (A relief for me cos I had been waking up very early these days!)   Managed to get a big table for six pax, thanks to two of my friends who were there earlier than 9.  Except for the SOP procedures, it looks like business were back to normal in some areas.  We spent around an hour enjoying the below Dim Sum and we would be meeting again for lunch later!  Opppsss... it is all about eating again during this time of RMCO... (Recovery Movement Control Order) First to be served... the Dim Sum-s... And the total cost for our orders came to RM60.... Definitely a good deal... I am definitely full.... for now! LOL...
