Lai Kee Fish Ball Noodles, Tun Aminah, Johor

FROM THE NORTH BACK TO IPOH... Rested a night in Ipoh and the very next morning, we were on the roads again, this time to the very south of Malaysia... After our quick breakfast, we started out our long journey around 10am.

In our small trusted car, we drove six hours almost continuously, only stopping to go to the restroom and to change seats in the car.  She drove most of the way in fact, I only drove from Rawang to Seremban, a hour plus stretch but I was on Full Alert even though I was not driving.

Reached Johor around 4pm, I was hungry by then, ended up buying a packet of nasi kandar before checking in to our small little home.  Dinner was simple, we went to a nearby food court for wanton noodles.  Had a good early rest and the next morning, we were in full blast again.  We went to Tun Aminah Lai Kee for the fish ball noodles.... it is my second time there.
Each bowl of noodles came in with the standard set like this....
Waited more than half an hour...
This shop is really crowded...
While waiting, we can "attack" these crispy beancurd skin with fish paste...
And these too....
An extra bowl for satisfaction... for the 4 of us...
For two bowls of noodles plus the side dishes, it came to RM52 with drinks!
My girl opted for Lui Char... very nice, she said...
Comes with a bowl of mint soup... RM6
That was for morning breakfast cum lunch, a 2 in 1 meal...
A big meal like that naturally will last us till dinner...
Johor, we are back again!
