Villa Curry Noodles For Early Birds

HOMECOMING FOOD.... mainly consist of local food specialty, that is Chicken Koay Teow and Curry Noodles among them.

One place which I discovered this year is Villa coffeeshop which is located at Jalan Dato Tahwil Azhar in town.  It is not a shop but an open spaced area whereby there are a few stalls manning the area.  In the morning, they have curry noodles and wanton noodles and in the evening, we can order dishes from another stall.

The one I am going to recommend is the curry noodles.  I have eaten there only one time... and the reason is that the noodles are sold out by 8.30am!  Yes, that early.... and that is the reason why I could not get to eat unless I really have to wake up very early!  And I really do not like to get up so early to have breakfast especially curry some more... LOL...

However it is worth trying, the curry is nice and tasty, secondly, it only cost RM4.50 per bowl with roasted pork, long beans and beancurd pok.  But lately I heard the price has increased to RM5 and that did not hinder anyone from going there as early as 7am... by 8.30, I was told... "Sorry auntie, no more already.... "  CMCO or not.... this business is not affected...

Managed to eat once upon a time... I think a few months back....
Only RM4.50 that time....
The four early birds managed to taste these before they were all sold out....
Price increase or not, they are definitely worth trying....

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Phil's Fish Market And Eatery, Moss Landing

DAY TRIP TO MOSS LANDING...  I did not know what to expect since I had not been there before.  We took an hour plus drive to this seafood place, it is an open air restaurant whereby you can dine by the sea or inside.  We chose the latter, since it was quite windy in the open air.  With a baby kid, it is best to have some warmth inside the restaurant. Yes, there was already a queue by the time we reached there, it was actually between lunch and dinner and yet, patrons were ready to have their meal.  Though the queue looked long, we could get a place within 10 minutes or so.   Almost the same picture but someone was looking at me when I took these...  Almost reaching the finishing line to enter ... Clam Chowder to start off...  Cioppino... A combination of seafood... Mussels, prawns, crabs, clams...  Eat what the fishermen eat... Dip the bread in the sauce... Yes, I like this... Fried chicken chunks...  And I still prefer the Cioppino compared to this....  Baby enjoying his own food befo
