Spectacular Entertainment On The Cruise

FREE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE EVENING...  When we boarded the ship, we can download their cruise apps in our phone so that we know what the programs and activities lie for each day, from early morning till early dawn.  They have fun for the kids, young adults and seniors like me.  I love going for Guessing Games about songs in the 70s, 80s.. and of course dancing too!  But this time round, I did not do any disco dancing.... LOL.... The entertainment performance normally starts at 7.30pm onwards... so far, we went for two live performances.  One is ice skating which my small grandson even love to watch!  He was mesmerized by talented ice skaters and the music.... and sat through the half hour without making a single noise.  He must be very bewildered.....  The ice skaters doing their stint.... We went for the Vegas live too... He did not make noise... But I did... the music was just too loud for me! We love walking around.... And relaxing at the sidewalk having our tea and desserts.... And

Our Three Course Meal Dinner

RESERVATION MADE for fine dining each evening whereby we can order endlessly....  We had our dinner for the next three nights at the same table same restaurant.  The menu is different each night, from appetizer, main course to desserts.  The waiter who served us was from Indonesia and he was very happy to attend to us, speaking our mutual language where two countries have in common.  He was really good at taking our orders, three course meal for the seven of us.  No mistakes made, none at all... I guess he must be trained pretty well... And of course, we tipped him pretty well too... LOL...  Appetitzers to start off....  And we can have more than one plate of starters... Crab patties for most of us.... Truffle mushroom soup....  Main course... Prime Ribs for my son.... New York steak.... Seafood variety for me... Shrimps, scallops and calamari... Oh, I think I ordered two for myself... hehehe... Grilled Salmon... For desserts, we can certainly eat.... Creme Brulee... I forgot what this

Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

First Day In The Royal Caribbean Cruise To Mexico

ROW ROW ROW YOUR BOAT.... gently down the sea....  Royal Caribbean, it is my second time following this giant vessel, the first time was from Singapore to Phuket, that was a very nice cruise.  So when my son mentioned that he found a good deal online, this time to Mexico, I agreed without hesitation.  Let's Go! A three nights stay with food and lodging only cost around $250 per person with at least one senior in per room.  Meals were either buffet style or fine dining, we can choose and cafes were opened 24 hours for us to rest and relax.  How not to resist... LOL...  And so here we are... just one week after landing in US, I was on the sea....  Looks small from afar...  It was a giant vessel with at least 14 floors.... On the way to embarking after Custom Clearance...  Our room for the next three nights....  Small and cosy.... And adjoining to my son's family room through a door...  The one with balcony cost a bit more...  A short briefing about safety after we checked in....

At Omelette And Waffle Shop For Breakfast

BEFORE EMBARKING ON A CRUISE... we had our breakfast in one of the open air shop near the dock.  Yes, we were going on a cruise, a three nights four days cruising the Pacific Ocean to Mexico.  Just a short cruise and the rate was very reasonable for seniors like me.  The all-included endless meals for two in a room cost around $250.  A very good deal and that is why four of us seniors ended up going for this trip.  One condition is that there must be a senior in one room to qualify for this promo.  Needless to say, all of us were paying the promo rate.   The place where we had our breakfast.... Omelette And Waffle Shop Pancakes, anyone? I ordered this to share.... Egg Benedict... One is certainly enough for me... And I had half of this too... Spinach with eggs and hashed browns...  The seniors and the juniors before docking....

Our Korean Dinner In Los Angeles

INTO THE NIGHT... Oh before we had dinner, the four ladies had a great time at the Outlet stores in Los Angeles.  Nothing can deter us ladies from shopping even though we did not end up buying anything at all!  Strange, right?  Since it was our first time there, we did not expect to see such a big crowd there, well, it is Los Angeles and not San Jose.  I guess most of them were tourists and spending power is certainly more.  Nevertheless, we did spend two hour plus at the outlet stores before making an exit back to the hotel to pick up two big guys and a small one... LOL....  We had our dinner at one of the Korean restaurants which has good reviews on the website.  Oh oh.. as usual, I did not take notice of the name, I think it was Sanya Korean BBQ... not so sure, anyway, we had their famous BBQ pork and all of us had to wash our hair after that.  LOL...  Yes, three big slabs.... The staff cooked these right in front of us...  That is the reason we smelt of pork after the BBQ...  LOL..
