First Time To Bukit Kledang

For our brunch, (we always get up late in the morning) five of us went to Farlim near Bukit Kledang for our dim sum. It was my first time eating there, in fact I never know there is such a shop there selling dim sum for from early morning till midnite. Aaron knows better, he and his course mates used to go there either for early morning dim sum or midnight supper!

I like this shop, the food they served to us that morning was very fresh, whatever we ordered, they only did the steaming or frying there and then. So everything was either steaming hot or crispy fried....such as these...

fried char siew pau
crispy fried prawn spring rolls (har kuen)

freshly steamed chee cheong fun
(half portion left only)

steamed char siew pau and lor mai kai

some siew mai very freshly steamed too!

these food cost only RM36 plus drinks!
Very cheap and nice..
I wanna go there once again...
Who wants to come along this time? :)

  16. Looks very nice...but I get worried about the fried stuff. Have this uncanny suspicion that there're leftovers, unsold from the day before...and deep fried. (Said that to somebody at the pasar malam here and the old lady overheard and was SO furious with me! Hehehehehehe!!!)

  25. Haha thought the same as 'sexyjessie' when saw Farlim straight zoomed in to Penang since it is so often you travel to Penang & no surprise you have dimsum there. Just that never heard of Bt Kledang in Farlim, Penang before. Maybe in your future post add in the State to avoid confusion:p. Hope not asking too much nanti kena zapped baru tahu haha. Great dimsum in Bukit Kledang.

Digress slightly but still on dimsum, met up with a couple from Ipoh for lunch in KL recently she said the road to enter FohSan Restaurant during CNY was a BIG BIG challenge and not talking about finding a decent table after you can enter the place and parked the car. Most bloggers agree to the equation CNY=Food=Jams=Temp Boiling=@$%^&(@ *pengsan* haha.

  26. chrisau: this is the secret of it.. lead u to a peak and then expect the unexpected.. :p

cheah: that was what i said again and again in my earlier posts before cny.. jangan jangan eat in Ipoh during cny..good food will become pricey no good food..yes, and all the xyz words will come out as well... it is always a warzone when it comes to dim sum in ipoh.. :p
