Flooded No More...

For the past couple of days, each time we bathed, our bathrooms were flooded to an inch deep and we have to wade in the toilet. Initially not one inch deep la, but as days went by, the water raised higher and the water took a long time to drain off ...

After each shower, I got to use the suction pump to "pump, pump" till the water could flow faster. A tedious work and a shower was not like a shower at all...

Then few days ago, the water suddenly got stagnant. Helpless!! No choice.. have to call the plumber to come. Expensive also have to pay..

Within half hour he came and saw the situation... haiyah.. he said... "what did u put inside the hole?" Cis, as if I want to put something inside the hole intentionally?

Then what he instructed me to do was.... to hold and cover the hole with the suction pump in one toilet while he went to the other toilet adjourning. From my side, I heard him pumping with all his strength..."pooop, poooooppp...PPPoooooopeddd" very loud... and .... in a short while, I could hear the water all rushing down the drainage hole..

See... no more flood... kau thim!
so now I know how to do already..
one hole must be closed while the other must "PUMP"

For less than 10 minutes labour, I paid RM20...
OKay la... pay to learn, right?

  7. Hi Reanaclaire, when you next go to the stores selling home stuff. look for DRANO. Its in a cylinder container, like Vim.....

Get one. Its VERY STRONG. Pour few drops once a month into your kitchen sink, bathroom sink, or where water runs off....wait ten minutes, read instructions first....then open tap, flush it off.

It is a kind of acid, eats up very fast all the gunk or whatever we find in sinks etc.
But be careful....it is very powerful. But not expensive. Try it.
Will save you money call plumber.
    Have a nice day, Lee.

  12. RM20 is very cheap lor... don't think we can get that price here in KL. My sink always got the same problem too and my hubby will buy a bottle of Coke and pour it in overnight or get those chemicals from the DIY shop and leave it overnight. It works too!

  31. This was the right step taken by you to maintain your bathroom in a hygienic condition. Most probably the drainage pipes got blocked somewhere and so it was taking a long time for the water to drain off. Please don't concern over the money. Bye.
