Keep GUESS-ing And You GUESS This!

I felt "heartpain" when I opened up the GUESS box and found that the wallet inside has "deteriorated" to such an extent that it couldn't be used anymore...
On the surface it was still very nice... I love it very much... Aaron bought it for me when he was in Italy during his internship training.  Er.... that was...more than two years ago... In fact he bought two handbags and one wallet for me, the GUESS handbag was utilized to the fullest... also Gone Case now... but this wallet was kept inside the drawer till yesterday.....

The problem with me is that I like to keep things... keep till come-what-may... and look what keeping has done to my GUESS... sigh...
when I opened the wallet... I was shocked...
the leather has worn out....
patches of white and it was starting to peel
when I rubbed on it....
There goes my GUESS wallet...
One lesson learnt... Never ever KEEP material possessions anymore....
They are meant to be Utilized and not Kept to "produce eggs!"

  1. That white stuff in fungusmould, which means the leather was damp/kept in a damp place. Sorry to see it that way.

  2. It's a mold. Oh sorry about your Guess wallet. This makes me want to dig in my stuff and check if there's something hidden.

Hope you get a new one soon.

  12. Lol, I don't have blog, but enjoy reading everybody elses. Well, yesterday I learnt if a brand new laptop is only €100, its too good to be true, here the gypsy people are notorious for cheating people. He showed me the laptop, I checked it, everything ok, I got out of his car, took out money to pay and somehow he managed to swap bags. I ended up with a laptop bag with catalogue books in it! I'm still raging about it! But I've learned my lesson.

  16. Just to add, if anyone wants to store things like this, it would be advisable to use desiccant crystals. Normally they come in small sachets and all you do is put in 1 or 2 together with the item you want to keep away.

  17. Hello...due to time constraint, I cannot reply individually..pls forgive me..

  21. never keep things too long..same goes to shoes.

Remember I bought a pair of nice high heel shoe just before I knew I was pregnant and since then, it was nicely kept in the store until two years later (after I delivered my boy), it turned out to be exactly the same like your purse plus a broken heel. :(

  23. Oh dear, I feel painful for u. Don't u put silica gel with it.

I've a huge collection of designer bags like LV, Chanel & Dior etc. I keep them all in their original dustbags & boxes with silica gel. Some been there for more than 10yrs but condition are still good.

U should also take them out to air if u're not using them. Hope these tips help...

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch here in …

Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....
I felt like eating Aglio Oli…

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
