The Day The World Stood Still...

On the 25th at 7pm, Tam and I went "dating"... It was her birthday and my girl treated both of us to this movie. A Super Wednesday in TGV, the ticket only cost RM7 compared to RM11 normally..or was it RM12?

Upon reaching the cinema, we both realized we didn't bring our cardigans, cham.... she and I are so "young" that we cannot tahan cold already. Fortunately she managed to rummage through her car boot and got a big weathershield... lol.. big enough to cover both of us like a blanket.. lol.. I should take a pic of that "lifesaver!" It saved us from our toilet trips at least... *too cold cannot tahan not going to pee, right?*

Ok, enough of that crap... my intention is to write on this movie... Tam kept grumbling throughout the movie, said it was too "farce" , how could the hero and family not die when all the others did when they were escaping the wrath of the earthquake..

Well, I shut her up ... I said the main motive of this movie is not to show the hero-s or what, it is to make known that when the end of the world really comes, no one can escape the wrath... The tsunami-s ended it all... there won't be a big ship to carry us away nor some spaceship to fly us over to the moon.. all will vanished... While it is frightening to see all these happen, at the same time, it is an eye opener for us.

Why did I blog about it today? Cos I dreamt of it last night, I was driving my car escaping the tsunami that is coming from the coastal area, Lumut... I was driving at a high speed..... aimlessly... and suddenly... suddenly......

  17. This movie isn't funny at all except that part when the girl gave her boyfriend the finger point*f$#@*! hahaha.... My mind was just wandering around, can't get to sleep after watching that movie! Extremely scary... I believe this will be happening in one day, not sure when! Global warming is getting worst and no one seems bother much about it. The water surface at Northpole not frozen even it's already winter. Polar bears has to eat their own cub becoz of hunger. Really really sad huh! According to Buddha, their books were written more or less the same as Quran. The sign - "When there are more & more people becoming gay/les and when more & more unbeatable diseases suddenly strike human, that's mean the end of the world is near!!!" =(

AnnieQ: hehe...i think it was an sms, i remember wrongly.. the sound of my sms is the ringing tone.. drrrinngggg....

My little space: as the bible is written, wars or sickness might be everywhere but doesnt mean the end is near.. it will come when we least expect it to be.. lets just wait and see and pray..and hope... and believe in God..

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch
