The stretch along the Off Penang Road...
Narrow but still cars can squeeze in...
Forever a busy and a narrow lane.... the crowd is always there...
oh dear... so hot..... some more have to queue...
is it worth waiting under the hot sun???
my goodness... still can smile one...
I NEED AN UMBRELLA!!
Too bad we forgot to bring it down from the car...
sigh... never mind...I guess I need some sun tan on my skin...
Now.... IS THIS WORTH QUEUING UP FOR?
Well, worth or not... it has been done...
Just remember to take an umbrella along, OK?
No, thank you. If the queue is too long I would rather give up. Cendol does not look appetizing. Lack of gula melaka. But sometimes we can't judge by its appearance. BTW, how's the taste?
ReplyDeleteIrene, the other day it was not as sweet as those days but it was still creamy..santanic... Haha
ReplyDeletewah, that is indeed a long queue!! even longer than Chatime now, haha!! i always heard about this cendol but never tried before, those in Gurney Drive i tried a lot lah~~
ReplyDeleteNever heard of this cendol stall also...
ReplyDeleteIs it really worth to try? Hehe... But me scared of the sun leh~
wow that is quite a queue huh,
ReplyDeletewell it looks great and refreshing
Salutw you lor
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I have never seen such lines for food than in Ipoh!!! It seems everywhere is so busy, but at the same time you have many more places to eat than we do. At least it seems that way...
ReplyDeleteHave to queue in the sun like that? Forget it lah!!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it's over-rated - not that nice...or there are others elsewhere that are just as nice or even better...and where people do not consider the welfare and comfort of their customers, I would think everyone should boycott the place and teach them a good lesson. Only know how to make money... Tsk! Tsk!
If you ask me to Q, got to depend on my mood, kaka....
ReplyDeleteI would love the cendol but I won't queue up under the hot sun.
ReplyDeletesk: tourist area.. sigh..
ReplyDeletehayley: let the men line up.. hehee...
mecoy: anything for food? :)
ReplyDeletekathy: take umbrella..ok...
ginny: for the sake of food.. some go under the sun like that.. :)
ReplyDeletestp: hahaha..i know you wont.. not many do..
sharon: hot la.. no need ler... i also wont line up next time! :)
ReplyDeletewenn: call the young to go line up.. i wont anymore.. :)
My friend's house is just a few houses away from the stall and bet you she has acquired the best maneuvering skill with her car over the years squeezing through the crowd.
ReplyDeleteBrought my Taiwanese counter part there and told him its green earth worms after he ate them hehe.
ReplyDeleteI ate there 20 years ago and there was no long queue, just people crowded around the stall. I find it nice then but now too sweet so have not eaten it for a long time.
ReplyDeleteThere are two cendol stalls there if I'm not mistaken right? I've tried both stalls. But at that time, we don't have to queue. Maybe it was weekday. haha.
ReplyDeleteI think i might give up queuing under the hot sun. I ll get HB to line up..ehheh..so bad of me.
ReplyDeleteI used to eat at that stall after my school everyday and loved the Laksa sold inside that coffee shop beside! So damn heavenly nice!!!
ReplyDeletebananaz: so bad la u.. those younger days, I was also tricked.. greenworms!!
ReplyDeletemun: the other day, not so sweet..
carolyn: yeah.. mine was Sunday! phewww...so hot!
ReplyDeleteling: not bad.. it should be that way! hahaha...
TM: I think nowadays different la.. not so leow already.. :)
