Castle Weddings

In my recent post on the wedding of Prince William and Duchess Kate, it reminded me of the earlier wedding taken place place in Birmingham Palace, that is the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. I was in my twenties then, I remember rushing home from work and sat glued to the television, watching it live as I watched the recent Royal Wedding. I really felt a pang of sadness watching Prince William's wedding, it would have been so wonderful if Lady Diana was present. Anyway, the Royal Wedding was beautiful... maybe if they opt for a castle wedding, it would be have been more classical, the wedding would be like a fairytale!

Having a wedding held in a castle sounds like a perfect fairytale like in Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty or The Seven Dwarfs, right? Anyone has dream of getting married in an English castle, say Rowton Castle in Shrewsbury, Shrophire? From what I read in their website, it states that a perfect castle weddings setting coupled with excellent food and service, it will guarantee that the wedding couple and their guests will have this day to remember for the rest of their lives. It will be the most memorable wedding day one has ever attend, their awesome sights of their gardens and lakes will provide wonderful photographic scenery....

And then..... after the wedding, comes the honeymoon! Where would you like to go? Do you want somewhere quiet, serene where both of you can have the best romantic time together? Oh, dear, I sound like a wedding planner... no, I am not, actually I just came across this website where they provide Cottages in Northumberland to couples or families who want to have a great getaway from the city life. They offer a wide selection of cottages, reasonable prices for a weekly rate. You can have a 2 bedroom or 7 bedrooms, depending on how big your family is, the details are all there for you to check them out.

Take for instance Berwick-upon-Tweed holiday cottage. It has three bedrooms that can sleep six people. Beautiful sitting room with a lovely bright light where it is just perfect for a relaxing evening after a hard day's sightseeing. An airy dining kitchen for you to cook a simple dinner or a romantic meal overlooking the beautiful lawn.. oh, just look at the bedrooms too!  Katie from www.orlajames.com said "Castle wedding would definitely be one of my top choices, preferably arundel! Secretly think its from all that Disney exposure."

Ho Chi Minh Is My Tag

Hey bloggers.. is this the season of TAGS?

Not that I am not in favor, in fact, I do welcome them, it coincides with my "blankness" of what to post actually... Good that it comes at the right timing!

These tag came from two bloggers, one is FoongPC and Ghostly Nana.. both also have something in common, one likes to talk about ghost stories at times and Nana has a ghost nick on her... wonder why.. This was taken in HO CHI MINH city, er... two years back... Went there with a few frens, (westerners and asians, guess which group I belong to?)

Being a mum is not easy as the spelling is... being a mum is the hardest task... I am still learning how to be one, I need my kids to teach me, stand by me, no matter what happens, they are my pillar of strength to go on with life....

I am indeed overwhelmed when Chubskulit gave me this amazing award... thank you very much, Chubs, though I know I dont really deserve it, this tag is pretty encouraging and I will not give up trying to be a better mom for my 3 wonderful kids, they will be part of the award, life is meaningful with them around... laughter and joy comes from them.... through ups and downs, we will continue to be ONE FAMILY, here on earth and till eternity....

Thank You Lord...

I wake up very early each morning and it is real tough when forcing myself to get up... but when I do, I spend a few moments, thanking the Lord Jesus for another blessed day that He has given me, that I am alive and well... healthy and kicking about... though things might not turn out the way we want to be, it is alright...there is always a reason behind it... meanwhile, lets thank our Lord for what we have now, He provides our needs....

Received this weird tag from Aprilheart.... hope after disclosing my quirkiness, my bloggers won't run off and leave me alone.... ( i wonder who invented this tag in the first place :)
Ok, here goes... (hands shaking a bit)

And now presenting my weirdnessssss :

1. Where it comes to meals, I like mixing durians with my rice and eating them together.. (proven in my blog some time ago... yucky, huh?)

2. After that, I like to go near to the one I dislike and burp in front of him/her (eg. my bossie?)

3. I like to curl my hair with my fingers when I am in meetings (cos boring ma....)

4. I love to sing even if it is in the cinema... (mamma mia, here I go again, Mamma..just how much I miss him)

4. I find satisfaction in digging foodstuff from my mouth with my last finger... (ahhhhh.....disgusting)

5. I like digging my nose with that finger too.... (ahhhhhh..hahahahaha.. I heard someone saying tsk...tskk... walking away slowly)

6. Oh , only number 6 ah... what else is weird about me ah... oh, I love mumbling to myself when I am in this kind of situation (blogging does make one crack a bit, agree?)

7. Weird as I am, it would be best if I can eat, blog and sleep all in one place... so far, I have achieve two... I like to eat and surf at the same time... my appetite improves a lot doing that...
