Take Me Home, Cathay Pacific

ALL OUR BAGS ARE PACKED... WE ARE READY TO GO... WE'RE STANDING HERE OUTSIDE THE DOOR....
Yes, our bags are all safely tucked into the Expedition... all ready to be flown back to where we belong, back to our country, Malaysia.. back to our home sweet home after Three Whole Months holiday in the land of aplenty, as my BIL used to say...

The day has finally arrived to bade goodbye to my longest ever holiday overseas... Yes, I do miss home, no doubt about that... And now I am home, I miss the white land, the food, the weather, the shopping, the traveling and of course, the homely welcome and hospitality that is the most important of all... Staying there is just like a second home to me, I would not hesitate to come again and again if I have the ... 1)  Time  2)  Money   3)  Health... that is the most important factor of all!
Really Appreciate these guys struggling to squeeze our six luggage into the back...
While we ladies still linger around and take photos even at the last moments here...
See... never ending poses....
We will miss you....
Hope we meet again real soon....
This was taken after the 13 hours flight from San Francisco to Hongkong....
It was drizzling when we landed in HK....
Transit hours is only two... so we just lingered around at the airport...
It was 6.40am in Hongkong...
Another two hours to go before boarding again...
Back to Home Sweet Home....
Bye US.. Hello Malaysia!

Travel Plans Made Easy

Ever since I injured my leg last October, I told myself that 2016 will be the year of recuperating and resting.  When my friends asked me when I would be traveling again, I told them that I had a bit too much in 2015, going to three countries within a year, it has taken a toil on me.  I have to take it easy this year and I only have traveled to local places so far.  But I think someone turned on my "travel mode" again!  With much persuasion and encouragement from my son, I have actually surveyed and booked my flight tickets to an "undisclosed" destination.

Yes, now I know how to book my flight tickets online.  Those days I dare not make my reservation on my computer, I referred to those tour agencies to book flight tickets for me.  All I did was to issue payment to them.  When I come to think of it now, I had been paying higher rates for the flights I had been taking compared to the online websites.  One of the websites I have been using to book my air tickets is expedia.com.  My nephew told me that Expedia is one of the most sought after and reliable online travel website in the entire world.  And I believed him, I did my "homework"... comparing this website with a few other travel websites, the rates on flight tickets are reasonably low.  Furthermore, Expedia provides localized services which offers and includes Hotels discount code and vouchers.  That is good news to me for the place I have in mind to visit again is Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is an interesting place to go for shopping and for food.  No doubt I have been to Hong Kong two times, that is in 2003 and 2007, and I am looking forward to going there again with family.  During then, both trips were under HK local tour guides where we have to follow their itinerary for each day for one week.  This time we are planning to go on a Free'N'Easy kind of trip.  All we need is to book our air ticket and accommodation, all easily accessible through this Hotels bookings with Expedia for their best price.   See, I have done my homework!  hahahaha...  Having said and done, it is time to save up some money for our shopping spree!!

HELLO MR PRESIDENT...

"Hello Mr. President, its nice to meet you.....er...may I put my hand on your shoulder? I could?.... thank you very much.... I hope you have a nice day ahead... goodbye..."

That was the most memorable day for my 2nd precious ... his unexpected wish came true... at last, he have met up face to face with our infamous Mr. George Bush, the president in one of the most powerful countries in the whole world....

Now...let's assume one day, one fine day, we meet up with our Maker in heaven... Just imagine, what shall we say to Him.. Do we say, Hello God, its nice to see You finally up here... or will we be dumbfold and gape with our mouths open? Speechless?

I used to ask myself, what have I done for Him.... am I doing His works? How many souls did I save for Him? Am I a true ambassadors for our Christ Jesus?

Frankly, I couldnt think of anything great that I have done right for Him.... Except through prayers, I admit I didnt actually do much for our Lord but instead... He has given and done so much for me and my kids.... He is indeed our true God, the giver of our lives...

Lets start to do something for Him... so that we meet up with Him one day, we will have plenty to 'boast' about instead of gaping with our mouths open at our Lord.... :)
