Quebec City

Let me talk a bit about Quebec City tonite...It is a province in the central part of Canada and the only Canadian province with a predominantly French-speaking population...naturally, the official language is French....so next time, before we venture out to Quebec city, lets learn up some relevant French words.... (haha) ...the only words I happen to know are bonjour and merci only.. shameful to say..

Looking at these pictures make me wish that I could go there once again... I am sure my kids will love to go, they were still very young when I made the trip to Canada.  One needs lot of stamina when it comes to traveling.  That is why I always tell my friends to travel when they are still young and not to wait till they retire.  (speaking from experience cos nowadays I feel my "battery" is not as strong as those years!)  Oh, before I forget, this time before I travel, I must look into some travel insurance quote, just in case, cos I am getting more and more absent-minded nowadays.

My Longest Flight

The longest flight I have ever taken in my whole life (until today) is my trip to Canada.  All in all, the whole journey from Malaysia to Toronto airport was around 24 hours!  Of course the flight includes the transit from two countries, they are Hongkong and Anchorage, stopping at these two countries and adding up the hours of flying, it took almost a day to reach Toronto.

Nevertheless, when we landed, all our weariness and fatigue worn off.... the weather in April was so nice and wonderful in Toronto.  My mum and I spent three weeks staying with our friends who took us around this beautiful city.  We spent another week following some local tours to Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec...oh, not forgetting Niagara Falls as well!

Looking through my photos a moment ago really brings back sweet memories and joy... How I wish I could have another opportunity to take off again... I would love to make another trip to Canada but first I would like to fly to UK to meet up with my friends first.  Maybe from there we can check out some cheap flights to Canada from UK...

Victorious Day....

Today is the day we celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection after the 3rd day being crucified on the cross....Jesus is alive, death has lost its victory and the grave has been denied...Jesus lives forever, He's alive....He's alive.... The curse of sin is broken and now we have perfect liberty...those who believe in Him will not cherish but will have everlasting life....Hallelujah....

These are real life pictures...spectacular in the beginning, then thrilling, terrifying and finally...
victorious..
