Never Dance Alone

Never Dance Alone has been in my itinerary each night ever since it was screened in April, 2014. The series ended on Sunday, 1st June 2014 and last night (Monday), I felt kind of "empty" even though my eyes were on the TV. I kind of missed the series, I have been looking forward to watching it every night for the past one month and I never missed one single episode.

Why is it so interesting to me? I can cite a few reasons...

Because it is directed by Eric Tsang and knowing Eric, the series will surely be witty and entertaining at the same time.

Because this series brings back old memories, songs being sung by Alan Tam, famous during the 70s and 80s and it suits me perfectly because I love his songs too!

Because this series highlighted on middle aged ladies and their feelings, not like other normal series where the young and the beautiful are cast...

Talking about the cast, there are few that I do not recall who they were (due to aging?) until I dug back their pictures from google and took some pictures from this website here.
Carmen Lee... as Sui Si...
The kind of woman a man would want to marry...
Love the way she smiles.. so enchanting...
Hope there will be more series from her....
I like Angie's acting too!  She is from Malaysia....
Her role as a middle aged woman who is so "dry" for a man...
And eventually she is so pampered by a man 12 years her junior....
The part where the Boy proclaimed his love for her is so "factual"....
I remember one line he said.....
"To fall in love with a 40 year old lady is not stressing...
At least she won't wake me up in the middle of the night to ask unnecessary questions"
That really made me laughed out loud by myself.....
Elvina Kong... she makes Aerobic so much fun...
After watching the series, I would like to try dancing to the song "I Will Survive!"
I think I can survive doing that... LOL...
Fennie as Yuen Chau
There are lots of ladies experiencing what she experienced in the series...
Kind of sad, but she survived... too..
Flora as Dan Dan... I love the way she says.... "Pleeassssssssseeeee"
She is a poor little rich girl...
She is capable of everything...
except making friends and maintaining a marriage...
Gloria Yip as Fei Choi....
Bullied by her husband who treated her like Sh**t
And in the end, she is the most happy one... married to Dollar House aka Dr. House!
hahahahaa...
Rachel Lee as Julie...
Her role as an arrogant and yet not hate-able lady...
She is the most pitiful one...
Having a baby at 16, expelled from school...
Lots of sad experiences for her..
And ended up Happy in the End!
(Picture taken from here)
Never Dance Alone... a series I would like to recommend...
Some said boring... but to me, it is the most entertaining series of all times!
Well, tonight might be Boring...
A new show has taken place and it is all about Investigations again...

I hope Never Dance Alone will come back with a sequel called M Club!

Ruse Of Engagement

My nights are filled with watching the latest TVB series... at the moment, I am glued to Ruco Chan from the Ruse of Engagement.. He is not handsome but he is super charming! The first time I saw him was from Reality Check shown last year, he left an impact on lots of local fans and since then, Astro on Demand has been showing most of his series since.
See the charming fella?

Auntie Reanaclaire is also smitten by his good looks and expressions in this series Ruse Of Engagement.  The plot is getting more and more exciting now... who is the mole and the traitor in the Anti Terrorist Force?  Anyone can guess?

Well, I guess not many of my readers are watching this series.... but I certainly not going to give it a miss.  Now that I am still working, I will continue to subscribe to Astro... but when I retire, I will consider unsubscribing to cut down expenses.  But will I be able to sustain not watching any more TVB series?  hmmmm... That is the setback of retiring... no more unnecessary entertainment in or outside the house....

Okay, don't think of that first.....  Its Time to watch my show.... er.. my charming fella!  LOL....

TVB Awards Presentations 2013

Last night the live Hongkong TVB awards was shown live on Astro. I was glued to the awards presentation because now I am more familiar with the actors/actresses. Ever since I subscribed to Astro On Demand, I have been following their latest series and now with the new recorder somemore, I have not missed a single episode. Any movies/series can be recorded, so nice... no wonder that technician told me that I would not have regrets having the recorder.. true enough, it is very handy and practical, at least for me.. now I can go out without having to miss a single episode! TV addict, me also!

Having saying that, the award presentations on the best actress/actor etc. etc.. I am well pleased with the results except for Eliza Wong. Actually there are many of them who can act very well, I have to give praise to Edwin Sui, Ruco Chan from the Brother's Keeper, they also deserve something, but at least they got nominated. Other than them, others who are equally good are Ron Ng, Francis Ng, Grace Wong, Benjamin something... and a few others whom I don't know their names but only their faces... hahaha...
These two are awarded Best Improved Actress/Actor...
Eliza Wong and Vincent...
Vincent is very good, having being slapped numerous times!
His portrayal of the latest series Will Power is very outstanding, I can say...
Elena Kong - Best Supporting Actress..
She deserves it, of course!!
Benz.. known as Tai Chak Kong... Best Supporting Actor
He should have got it long ago!
Last and not least....
Best Actor Award goes to Dayo Wong Chee Wah - My Bounty Lady...
He made me glued to the show and leaves an impact....
Talented no doubt about that... I can accept him taking the best actor award.. hahahaa...
That includes Kristal Tin as well...
She acted very well in My Brother's Keeper... very natural...
Well, I guess all deserves the awards...
If only there are more awards to be given away... that would be just GREAT!
I would like to give one to Ruco Chan and Edwin Sui too for their portrayals as brothers ... LOL....
