Tiffany's Show In Pattaya

The four sisters managed to go for a trip together for the first time and we had a wonderful time together.. it is difficult to arrange the right time and the right trip especially when one is staying so far away from Malaysia. Thank God, all went well and here we are.....
Our first trip together at the Tiffany's ...
One ticket cost RM70  for the one hour Live Performance...
For first time viewers, it was worth watching the Tiffany's Show....
When the performance ended, there, everyone gathered outside...
for photo-taking.....
Beautiful "ladies" with their glittering costumes...

Fatigue and exhaustion clearly showed on their faces....
Dazzling performance and gowns....
Pattaya comes alive at night... everyone seems to be having a good time...
After some minutes or so, it was time for us to leave Pattaya for Bangkok....
We should have stayed a night there... too bad we didn't arrange for that...
Well, hope we can make another trip to Pattaya another time...
Thailand is a nice place to visit...
Good shopping, glorious food and endless entertainment!

Free And Easy Bangkok Trip

I really don't mind going to Bangkok again, free and easy trip, if there is a group of 8 to 10 people, we can plan our own program and itinerary.

With a personal tour guide, it can be very fun going there with friends or families. We can make our own rules and not be obligated to those following a big group, like waking up time for instance. We do not have a morning call of 7am.... and have to be down waiting at the lobby at 8am..

Free and easy trips, we can plan our own itinerary and go wherever we like and that includes, stopping at any place we want... like below...
We saw durians and mangoes!
"Tour guide, please stop van..... " and he readily agrees.... so nice!
 Busy choosing durians and fruits...
Bought a few durians and ATE them right there!
Thai durians are different from our local ones here...
And talking about durians, I think I will go get some tomorrow!!
After our "durian feast", it is time to hit the roads again....

Pad Thai In Local Street, Pattaya

Back to my Bangkok trip (seems like endless, right).. we went to Pattaya for a day trip and during dinner, we requested to eat Pad Thai.   And our Bangkok tour guide took us to a local road side stall to taste this authentic Pad Thai...

Ok, what is Pad Thai?  It is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as a street food and at local eateries in Thailand.  Here are some pictures I took while we were waiting to be served....
Along the road in Pattaya, our tour guide parked his van and told us to alight...
He told us that this was his favourite Pad Thai stall....
 Quite popular among the locals....
Obediently we quickly took our seats and let our tour guide did all the ordering....
Immediately after we sat down, a few plates of the above were laid on our table...
"Hey, what's this for?  Raw eating?"   Yumsssss...
Leaving the raw materials aside, I went to "steal recipe...."  hahaha....
hmmmm....very busy at the wok....
 Lots of shrimps..... best!
Finally our food came....
From left, our tour guide and driver....
See the plates of raw vegetables?
Those were supposed to be taken with Pad Thai...
Introducing .... PAD THAI WITH SHRIMPS...
For those allergic to seafood, this is another option....
Crispy fried lard with BBQ meat (char siew)
So how's the taste?
Well, I wouldn't mind having Pad Thai again..
The taste is totally different... and he Lard is really someting! :)

Pattaya Beach During The Day

What is the difference between Pattaya and Phuket... oh, for many times, I have confused between the two... both are more or less the same, sunshine and beautiful beaches! I have been to Phuket once and that was in the 1980s... and I have been to Pattaya also once and between the two, I think I prefer Pattaya... even a dish over here in Malaysia is called Pattaya rice! (Fried rice being wrapped up with fried egg!)  So I guess Pattaya is more popular among Malaysians?

I had one regret though... going to Pattaya for a day trip from Bangkok is not truly encouraged... Why?  Because during the day, the sun was blazing hot and most of the shops/bars/pubs are closed during the day!   Pattaya only "comes alive" during the night, I believe.... I miss out all the food snacks, the hawkers stalls, the shopping, the "highlights" and all these happen during the night... Well, to experience all these, it is worth staying a night or two... (my opinion....)
During the day... it was all Sun and Light... hahahaa....
.... and "covered head and eyes!
But during the day, you can admire the beautiful Pattaya Beach...
.... though I have to "squint" my eyes whenever I take the pictures.....
and at times I ended up taking "not-so-interesting" scenes... hahaha....

But the picture comes alive when two ladies stood here.. LOL...
How about this?  I love this picture!
I must have "me" in it....
Well, that's it... Pattaya City behind me....
Miss the night life though...
