Since we were at Orchard area, we decided to take our dinner at one of the malls. Don't ask me which one, they all look the same to me.... I remember walking in and out, above and underground, up and down the escalators, yes, I just kept on walking, following my kids, wherever they go, I follow.... We were just undecided on our dinner... too many choices... you name it, they have it except Ipoh food. LOL...
Then suddenly one of them mentioned Outback Steakhouse, it struck my mind, OH YES, let's go for that one! It reminded me of the one in Sacramento, supposedly to go there one evening but we did not. So it was meant to be... not in Sacramento but in Singapore... Outback Steakhouse, one of the largest steakhouse chain in the world... and we were here at one of the branches at Orchardgateway...
Weekday... and we beat the crowd, no queuing over here....
Picture, picture before we began digging into the food...
And what did we have?
Their Prime Ribs... medium well...
And the condiments...
Half Baby Rack ribs....
Followed by a Double Steak Burger...
And Chicken Tacos...
Eat while it is still crispy and nice...
Each meal to each person...
Yes, we tried a bit of everything here on the table...
And walked away with a full stomach leaving the empty plates....
Bill? Total cost... er... around $140?
hhhmmm... who paid for this meal, by the way??
One of them did... naturally...
And after the heavy meal, it was a twenty to twenty five minutes walk back to the hotel...
WE welcomed the straight long walk... no doubt about that!
LOL...
So much to see, shop and eat at Orchard road.
ReplyDeleteThe prime rib looked fabulous. Nice to share around the table as everyone gets to try and taste everything. My kind of meal.
so nice got people sponsored the meal!
ReplyDeleteGood to walk after such a heavy meal! The food all looks so good! I now want to go to ours and get the chicken tacos!
ReplyDeleteOrchard used to be a very very popular tourist spot, now it has lost a bit of its glamour due to widespread online shopping. However, it still remains the place to be for shopping.
ReplyDeleteI like the baby back ribs, looks juicy.
Australian franchise? Any connection with the Outback at Bukit Bintang. Wahhhh!!! Mother in law so sayang daughter in law! Pick the date yet? LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteFood looks good. Good to have big eaters with you so that you can eat a bit of each dish and they finish the rest for you. What a warm and lovely time being with all your children.
ReplyDeletePrime rib and double steak burger....habis...

ReplyDeleteA great dinner with your kids and the nicest thing was that someone naturally foot the bills.
